Touchscreen not working/wifi at setup screen Chuwi Ubook 11.6

Hi I just purchased a Ubook 11.6 because it says you support it you have built Fyde to work on this device.

WiFi doesn’t work

Touchscreen doesn’t work

Bluetooth not sure.

Yet it doesn’t warn you on the downloads page of the issues do wasted over 300gbp for a tablet that I was hoping to run android on and now have a useless 300 GBP paperweight.

On testing a few different versions I found the Fyde OS for pc works on this device I have WiFi and touchscreen but no Bluetooth.

It says scanning for devices but none appear

Update device now set up and working.

Auto rotation doesn’t work.
Bluetooth doesn’t find devices but says scanning for devices.

Everything else is okay but haven’t checked cameras.

Is they anything I can do to provide information on here so these issues can be fixed.

FydeOS for You - Chuwi UBook 11.6 was tailored for Chuwi UBook manufactured in 2019. Chuwi may have altered some BOM elements for newer releases, including touch panel, touchpad, accelerate sensor etc. causing incompatibilities that you are experiencing now.

We can’t prevent Chuwi from changing its BOM and once they do there is not much we can do :man_shrugging:t2:

I am using the Fyde for pc what works better than the for you version dude to the changes.

Can the Fyde for pc be updated to support Bluetooth and the screen rotation if I provide any required information?

Everything works it’s just Bluetooth and screen rotation. Touchscreen works okay.

If I can do anything to help please let me know

This is the output if it helps

Found this post relating to the unknown device from evtest what is to do with screen rotation

Hi please can you get back to me about this if they is a way I can assist in fixing this myself please tell me and will do it! This tablet was meant to be a gift and understand that the BOM has been changed but I want to make it compatible again.

Thank you

We don’t currently have plans to fix the issues you’ve mentioned for the model you own. Our resources are just not unlimited and there aren’t really too many of you using Chuwi out there with the same problem. I am sorry, it is what it is.

Is they a way I could fix Fydeos for my device if given the information needed?
